Why are the courses shown not the same as the ones I think I should be taking?
The courses shown in the program listing are the courses that a student would take if they started this program now. If you are a continuing student, you may fall under an older curriculum. See your counselor for particluar information.

I can't find what I am looking for - any tips for searching?
This search is a text search. It matches what you type in character by character to the title of each course. If your search is not returning the information you are looking for, try using less words. For example, if you are looking for a prep class for chemistry, and tried "chem prep" as a search, try typing just the word "chem". This will return additional options.

What if the class I want is full?
Instead of a course waitlist, we have implemented a new process.  If a course you are interested in is currently full, you can print, complete and return the Additional Course Section Request Form to the appropriate Division (see form for a complete listing).  Please make sure to complete the entire form.  The Division will follow up with you if your request can be accommodated.

We encourage students to check the BTC on-line course listing often as seats may become available.
